Oliver James have partnered up with a leading regulatory technology company. Our client is currently looking to take on a seasoned Python engineer.

As a Senior Software Engineer reporting to the CTO, you will be working with a small team of Python developers and UI developers contributing to the development of new generation of cloud-based analytical products in the area of financial regulatory risk.

Skills:

- 7+ year's experience in Python.

- Strong communication skills, comfortable having technical discussions with clients.

- Senior developer/team lead experience.

- Python web application and/or API development.

- Strong SQL and RDBMS modelling skills.

- Reasonable Linux knowledge.

- Modern and agile Devops

Nice to haves:

- PostgreSQL and use of PostgreSQL via SQLAlchemy

- Azure infrastructure configuration

- Basic working knowledge of interfacing with LLMs, such as OpenAI or Microsoft Cognitive Services APIs.

This is a fully remote role (within Ireland).

Salary - Up to €120,000 - Depending on experience + Benefits
