Senior System Engineer - Windows

We've partnered with one of the leading universities in Switzerland to find a Senior System Engineer - Windows who is ready to make a real impact in a forward-thinking, agile ICT environment.
Your Mission
- Operate and evolve a modern Windows Server infrastructure
- Automate server provisioning (focus on Windows)
- Manage and enhance Veeam backup systems
- Advance infrastructure automation (SaltStack, PowerShell, etc.)
- Assist in the setup of Windows server roles/features and third-party tools
- Collaborate closely with agile ICT teams and internal stakeholders
What You Bring
- Recognized IT qualification (FH, HF, FA, EFZ, or equivalent)
- Experience with hybrid infrastructures (network, virtualization, storage)
- Deep Windows Server knowledge (features, roles, scripting)
- Strong PowerShell skills; Linux/Bash/Python is a plus
- Familiarity with datacenter networking (VLAN, DNS, firewalls)
- Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, and Azure is an advantage
- A collaborative mindset, service-oriented thinking, and experience in agile environments (SAFe, Scrum, etc.)
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
