Our client is an international law firm in Hong Kong. Their corporate team covers a mix of transactions work such as ECM, DCM, M&A, PE, etc.
This role will work under the supervision of the Associates, with guidance from the Partners. You will work alongside other paralegals to perform the following duties:
- Due diligence
- Reviewing/ drafting NDA's and commercial contracts
- Verifying prospectuses and investor presentations
- Drafting transaction documents and letters
- Reviewing pre and post-completion work
- Assisting with collation and preparation of conditions precedent
- Preparing transaction bibles
- Proofreading/checking cross-referencing
- Liaising with external parties
- Legal research where required
- Assisting with simple drafting of commercial agreements
It is preferred that the selected candidate has at least half a year of relevant corporate paralegal experience, however strong internship experience handling corporate work, such as M&A, IPO, Commercial Transactions will also be considered. Strong fluency in English is a must, combined with good spoken and written Mandarin will be preferred.
