Our client, a leading company in the Transportation & Logistics industry, is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join their legal department.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on matters related to the business and its associated entities
- Handle Trade Finance and Shipping legal issues
- Assist with Asset Finance and Debt Capital Markets - Bonds
- Liaising with internal departments regarding to vessel documentation, insurance, compliance matters and corporate secretarial matters
- Manage transactions such as preparing and monitoring conditions precedent, obtaining approvals for transactions including but not limited to invoice payments, managing deadlines, etc
Key Skills:
- At least 2-5 PQE at a reputable law firm or in-house
- Common law qualified, preferable Singapore qualified lawyer
- Experience in finance/ transport or shipping is highly preferred
