As a Corporate Lawyer, you'll have the chance to become a member of our client's dynamic team, a prominent leader in the gaming industry. Under the guidance of the Head of Legal, you'll collaborate closely with another legal professional, contributing to our client's continued success.
Your responsibilities
- Monitoring and staying abreast of developments in gambling legislation.
- Handling communications with the Gambling Commission and public authorities.
- Managing administrative procedures such as license applications and urban planning permits.
- Drafting and validating contracts across a wide range of areas including supplier and client agreements, partnership and collaboration contracts, agreements with municipalities regarding gaming venue operations, confidentiality commitments, sponsorship agreements, service provision contracts, etc.
- Providing legal counsel on various subjects including gambling legislation, contract law, IT law, privacy, anti-money laundering legislation, corporate law, real estate law, labor law, etc.
- Managing legal disputes and liaising with involved attorneys.
- Conducting corporate housekeeping for legal entities within the group.
- Managing relationships with professional associations.
Your Profile
- Master's degree in law.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a lawyer or legal counsel.
- Strong interest in a generalist legal role.
- Discretion, responsibility, and organizational skills are among your qualities.
- Demonstrates transparent and objective communication while being comfortable socially with all levels of management.
- Initiative-driven, with a high degree of autonomy, yet also a team player.
- Capable of translating legal concepts, risks, and notions into practical and business-oriented advice.
- Assertiveness in conveying the legal department's perspective.
- Maturity and versatility enabling you to handle legal and administrative aspects.
- Fluent in French or Dutch, and English (oral and written).
- Excellent MS Office skills.
