Position Overview
This role supports day-to-day operations across a wide range of investment strategies and asset classes. The successful candidate will work closely with trading, investor relations, finance, and fund management teams to ensure accurate and timely investment data and portfolio processing. This is a dynamic opportunity to gain exposure to the operational engine of a leading investment platform.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality operational support to teams across the organization, including trading, investor relations, finance, and fund management.
Ensure that the trading team has timely and accurate investment holdings data for external asset transactions.
Monitor and process daily portfolio activity, including corporate bond trades, CLO events, asset-backed and mortgage-backed security transactions, and equity activity.
Collaborate with teammates to deliver consistent and reliable firm-wide operational support.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Gain hands-on experience with how a globally recognized investment firm executes its operations.
Desired Background / Education
1-2 years of experience in fixed income operations preferred.
Familiarity with asset classes such as corporate bonds, ABS, MBS, CLOs, or preferred equity is a plus.
Experience with portfolio accounting systems (e.g., Advent Geneva) preferred.
Proficiency in Bloomberg and Excel is strongly preferred.
Exposure to syndicated and/or private credit bank loans is advantageous.
Minimum GPA of 3.3 or higher.
