IT Support Engineer
Our client, a leading company in the Service industry, is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their IT department. This is a permanent job position where you will be responsible for providing first line support to internal users.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal users via phone, email, and in-person
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network problems
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and software
- Collaborating with other IT team members to identify and resolve issues
- Documenting support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system
- Assisting with IT asset management, including inventory and tracking
- Providing training and guidance to users on hardware and software usage
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of first line support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving techniques
- Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and software
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
- Good understanding of IT asset management practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
