I am working with an exciting specialty program insurance organization based in NYC. They are currently looking to hire a brand new VP, Senior Counsel to join their legal team.

In this position you would draft and negotiate corporate contracts and (re)insurance contracts as well as support relevant legal and compliance needs, conduct claims coverage analyses support and provide general legal advice to the partner carriers and MGAs.

They are looking for someone with strong insurance knowledge and experience, either from a law firm or in house from a carrier who has a broad and varied background handling insurance legal issues.

You would report in to the General Counsel directly and work closely with them on a day to day basis.

The position is based from NYC on a hybrid schedule (3 days in, 2 days out) and the salary range is $175-225K + bonus.
