Responsibilities

• Responsible for the developing, or directing the use or development of, product design and design specifications, as well as trade secrets, technology, or other intellectual property for the purpose of manufacturing, producing, or constructing SME EMEA offerings.
• Actively participate in the NPI process. In this regard, should serve as a critical voting member during all PAC meetings.
• Represent the business in connection with the future direction of R&D and product design. Coordinate with others in the organization, particularly with the Marketing and Offerings Leader, ISC leaders, etc. in Ireland, to obtain input regarding customer trends and requirements. Propose revisions to product roadmaps to consider feedback from the markets.
• Participate in strategic decisions regarding the SME EMEA product lifecycle (e.g., innovate, end of life) from a market perspective.
• Participate in SME EMEA design reviews and provide guidance from a technology perspective to the other leaders (e.g., manufacturing, sales, etc.).
• Directly supervise all R&D efforts related to these products globally or regionally, as the case may be.
• Leadership of Investment Planning Process:
• Leadership of Investment Process to deploy R&D Funds. Investment Board membership includes: Business Leadership (e.g., GM/RGM), Marketing Leadership (Offering Management), Product Line Leaders
• Leadership of Product Line Cross Functional Product Council
• Monitor program execution against scope, schedule, cost, quality objectives
• Identify remediation plans where programs do not meet stage gate objectives
• Track NPI Metrics and Sign off NPI releases
• Assist with corporate metrics and processes VPD, Software Excellence
