We are currently partnered with a well-established insurance carrier looking to add a Senior Underwriter with large casualty experience to their growing team. The professional will be based out of Edison, NJ and will be expected to be in office 3 days a week.
In this role, the candidate is expected to:
- Manage profitability, growth and retention of an assigned book of business
- Underwrite and negotiate complex accounts
- Maintain relationships
- Identify and foster new business opportunities
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- 5+ years of relevant underwriting experience
- Experience handling large accounts
- Retail relationships
