Project Manager - Middle Office - 15+ years of experience

Our client, a leading company in the Asset Management industry, is seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join their team in Hong Kong. As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the entire transformation of the middle office (investment services and data management). The ideal candidate will have led large components of middle office transformation in APAC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the middle office transformation and overseeing all requirement gathering, analysis and documentation of client on-boarding projects within all in-scope entities.
  • Support programme work-stream owners in planning, and designing the project plans and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective actions.
  • Lead the effective adoption of the chosen target operating models that impacts, alters or enhances the Middle office Trade Capture and Trade Matching/Settlement Operating Model through detailed analysis, design, testing, and training rolled out for
    proposed solutions.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders from across the wider Programme, as well as business stakeholders and third-party vendors.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of direct project, programme management and delivery experience. Must have focused on complex technical-related outcomes. Working on large complex middle office, investment operations and technology transformations.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Highly effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise the Programme Owners and project team members.
