Job Summary: The Implementation Lead/Project Manager will spearhead the comprehensive overhaul of our Client's middle office, ensuring successful project outcomes by orchestrating various workstreams, coordinating dependencies, managing risks and issues, and overseeing the performance of third-party vendors. This role demands a seasoned project/programme manager with a track record in navigating intricate middle-office transformations within the Asia region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of the Middle Office Transformation, encompassing requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation of client onboarding projects across all relevant entities for the Group (spanning 17 countries).
  • Assist Programme Workstream Owner(s) in crafting and executing project plans, monitoring progress, troubleshooting issues, and implementing corrective measures.
  • Drive the adoption of target operating models affecting the Middle office Trade Capture and Trade Matching/Settlement Operating Model through meticulous analysis, design, testing, and training.
  • Forge robust relationships with stakeholders, business partners, and third-party vendors.
  • Monitor the performance of third-party vendors and escalate concerns to leadership when necessary.
  • Evaluate project risks and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulations.
  • Ensure timely, scope-compliant, and cost-effective delivery of project outputs.
  • Manage project scope and collaborate with Programme Workstream Owners on any required adjustments. - Proactively identify and address potential project risks.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • 15 to 20 years of project management experience with a focus on delivering complex technical outcomes, particularly in sizeable middle office, investment operations, and technology transformations.
  • Proficient in influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, strong interpersonal skills, and effective communication abilities.
  • Experience in operating under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Skilled in fostering team cohesion and managing relationships with multiple vendors.
  • Proficiency in programme and project management methodologies such as MSP, PRINCE2, PMQ, PMP, Agile, and Scrum.
