Our client, a leading boutique Alternative Fund Administrator, is looking for a senior fund accountant and controllers to join their fund accounting team. Our client offers options of both hybrid in downtown Chicago and fully remote. Compensation is competitive and there are comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Participate and review audit and tax preparation
• Preparing and reviewing cash flow and forecasting
• Working with a team on quarterly and year end close reporting, including financial statements, capital account statements and account reconciliation.
• Assisting with the preparation of all internal data and information for Capital Calls, including Distributions and Allocations to investors
• Utilise third party software system to track and maintain investor information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA is a plus
• At least 3-4 years of fund accounting experience, with a strong understand of private equity and venture capital funds
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
