Our client, a leading boutique asset manager, is looking for a senior fund accountant to join their growing fund accounting team. Our client works on a hybrid model in downtown Chicago. Compensation is competitive and there are comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Complete financial reporting and investor reporting in a timely and accurate manor
- Execute cash management activities including sending wires for investment company purchases, reconciling capital calls, and requesting draws and pay downs on the fund's lines of credit
- Assist in preparation of regulatory compliance reporting and internal audits
- Complete weekly and monthly fund performance and investor reporting
- Review K-1's and tax reporting
- Assist in special projects and support on ad-hoc requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA is a plus
- At least 3-4 years of experience in financial service industry or public accounting firm, with specialisation in private equity, hedge fund, fund of funds and venture capital funds
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
