IT Support Engineer

Our client, a leading company in the Service industry, is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their IT department. This is a permanent job position where you will be responsible for providing first line support to internal users.
Role & Responsibilities:
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal users via phone, email, and in-person
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network problems
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and software
  • Collaborating with other IT team members to identify and resolve issues
  • Documenting support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Assisting with IT asset management, including inventory and tracking
  • Providing training and guidance to users on hardware and software usage

Key Skills

  • Strong knowledge of first line support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving techniques
  • Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and software
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
  • Good understanding of IT asset management practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
