Financial Controller - Insurance Client

The Role
Our client-a modern, fast-scaling insurance platform-is seeking a sharp, hands-on Controller to lead financial operations across its owned MGAs. This is a high-impact role supporting integration, oversight, and consistency across a portfolio of decentralized businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee month-end close and reporting across all MGAs.
Ensure timely, accurate financials aligned with group requirements.
Own audit prep and support internal controls across the portfolio.
Drive process improvement, standardization, and integration post-acquisition.
Partner with local finance leads and provide hands-on guidance.
Collaborate with leadership on special projects and transformation initiatives.
What They're Looking For
7-10+ years of accounting/finance experience in multi-entity environments.
Insurance or MGA experience strongly preferred.
Strong leadership skills with a practical, problem-solving approach.
Ability to lead in fast-paced, high-growth settings.
Clear communicator who builds strong internal partnerships.
