For a primary Life Insurance Company we are looking for a Financial Accountant.
The Financial Accountant works in an international environment that is constantly changing. He/She is in permanent contact with various stakeholders from the Operations (Claims and Contract Management), Sales and Product & Pricing departments. He/She collaborates with the accounting teams from Switzerland and the Netherlands, which gives him/her the opportunity to learn and innovate a lot. He/She provides solicited and unsolicited advice on (financial) decision-making. His/Her Line Manager is located in Italy.
The Financial Accountant is responsible for the following tasks:
- Processing financial administration (inbound invoices, accounting, etc.)
- Supporting the month-end closing
- Supporting technical quarterly closing
- Partnering with other coworkers in the Accounting Services
- Monitoring day-to-day finance activities
- Participating in financial projects in which your expertise is expected
- Contributing to improving processes the within Finance department
Requirements:
- University degree in accounting, finance or economics
- Minimum 4 years experience in the accounting function within the Insurance industry, ideally in a changing environment involving the implementation of ERP and GL systems
- Master level with Excel
- Excellent command of Italian and English, orally and in writing
