Role: Linux Engineer

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 6 months + possible extension

Location: Bern

Language: Fluent German and English.

A leading IT solution business are currently seeking an external Linux Engineer to support them for a 6-month contract requirement. They require a Linux expert, with hands-on production experience and knowledge of Windows, as well as practical experience with container platforms such as Docker, Openshift or Kubernetes. You should also have scripting skills with PowerShell or Bash.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership and responsibility of the architecture, design and implementation or solutions for on premise/cloud projects.
• Operational support in 3rd level.
• Ensure continuous improvement and monitoring.
• Responsible for the integration with other platforms.
