Job Title: Accounting Manager - Financial Reporting
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team as the Financial Reporting specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting function and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This position requires a strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and the ability to manage a team of accounting professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and submission of timely and accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards.
- Manage the financial reporting process including the coordination of the year-end audit, quarterly reviews, and the preparation of SEC filings.
- Ensure that financial reports are prepared and presented in a clear, concise, and accurate manner that is easily understood by stakeholders.
- Continuously assess and improve financial reporting processes and controls to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and best practices.
- Manage a team of accounting professionals responsible for financial reporting, including setting goals, managing workloads, and providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate with other members of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting standards.
- Experience with SEC reporting and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting software.
