An industry leading Financial Services organization is seeking an experienced hands-on Technical Lead (Java/Angular/React) to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions in a complex and regulated environment. You'll work at the intersection of engineering excellence and business impact-leading development initiatives, guiding junior team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape the future of our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development of full-stack applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance

• Analyze system requirements and enhance legacy and new systems using your knowledge of modern software practices
• Provide architectural input and translate technical concepts into practical, high-impact solutions
• Identify and address application vulnerabilities and participate in secure development practices
• Write clean, maintainable code in a collaborative development environment
• Guide and mentor junior developers, providing technical coaching and peer reviews
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineering teams to align technical efforts with business needs
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide estimates, and contribute to planning activities
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve system reliability and performance
• Stay informed on emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices, continuously raising the bar for technical delivery

Skills Needed:

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, ideally in the financial or enterprise tech sector
• Solid background in both backend and full-stack development
• Deep experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend services
• Strong expertise in Angular or React for UI development
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases
• Familiarity with Python or other modern scripting languages is a plus
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Prior experience analyzing and remediating security flaws or application vulnerabilities
