My client is seeking an experienced professional for the role of SVP - Products in their Underwriting department. As a recruitment agency, we are actively searching for qualified candidates who possess exceptional skills in casualty and product liability underwriting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Products team within the Underwriting department
- Develop and implement underwriting strategies for casualty and product liability lines of business
- Analyze risk exposures and make sound underwriting decisions
- Collaborate with senior management to drive growth and profitability
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company guidelines
- Mentor and guide junior underwriters
Key Skills
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in casualty and product liability underwriting
- Demonstrated expertise in analysing risk and making appropriate underwriting decisions
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Excellent knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective underwriting strategies
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
