We're looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to join an industry leading organisation that is currently going through a period of growth due to continued success!
Our client is a reputable organisation within their industry, dedicated to providing exceptional services, solutions and experiences to the communities they serve.
You'd be joining in a varied role that takes ownership over the delivery of all Software and Development initiatives and projects. Looking after both off the shelf and bespoke applications.
With a handful of direct reports and teams under them, a large proportion of the Development resource is outsourced and therefore you'd be responsible for managing those 3rd party and vendor relationships.
Core Responsibilities:
- To Lead and Manager the IT Applications & Development team, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of projects.
- Managing the delivery of multiple Software initiatives and projects. Overseeing the design, development, testing and deployment of applications
- Providing guidance and expertise to ensure high-quality and best practice.
- Develop and further implement standards and best practice
- Manage the relationship with 3rd party resources and vendors, holding them accountable to deliverables agreed.
This is a varied role with a large emphasis on the delivery of multiple projects and new initiatives. You'll oversee the build and delivery of new platforms and therefore proven experience of this is key to the role.
We're also looking for someone who has a strong background in the Microsoft tech stack (.Net/ C# etc) and has worked within an Azure centric environment.
