As a successful SOC Analyst, you will bring your expertise in threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and a genuine passion for securing networks to the table. Your role will involve proactively identifying cyber threats, analysing threat landscapes, and uncovering vulnerabilities to safeguard the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively monitor and analyse security alerts and events to promptly identify potential threats.
• Engage in proactive threat hunting activities to detect and mitigate advanced threats.
• Assess and report on the current threat landscape, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
• Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments to pinpoint weaknesses.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust security strategies.
• Utilise EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) tools for incident investigation and response.
• Apply your knowledge of Active Directory and network security to enhance defence mechanisms.
• Leverage SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools for thorough threat analysis.
• Assist in incident response efforts, including containment and recovery.
• Produce detailed reports and documentation related to threat detection and hunting.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in threat detection, threat hunting, and vulnerability assessment.
• Strong familiarity with EDR tools and Active Directory.
• Proficiency in working with SIEM tools and managing security information.
• A solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, etc.) are highly desirable.
• Fluent in English.
