ServiceNow Discovery Consultant - Big 4 Consultancy

A major Big 4 Consultancy client of ours is recruiting for a contract ServiceNow Discovery Consultant for a period of 6 months.

This hire will be managing the Infrastructure lifecycles along with their associated technologies, while being the subject matter expert for infrastructure discovery. Must have knowledge of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) processes and practices.

Key skills / requirements:

o Minimum of 2 years of experience with discovery and application mapping technologies, preferably ServiceNow Discovery and ServiceNow Service Mapping.

o Must have experience of managing Servicenow Discovery

Blend of knowledge and technical expertise in:

o ServiceNow administration, including Discovery

o Discovery probes, sensors, and patterns.

o Scripting using JavaScript, Groovy, PowerShell, Bash, RegEx, SQL, etc.

o Network concepts such as routing, switching, firewalls, NAT, load balancing.

o Protocols such as HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, and REST.

o Web and Application servers such as WebSphere, JBoss, MQ, IIS, Apache.

o Markup languages such as XML and JSON.

o Microsoft Active Directory architecture.

o Storage Area Network technologies.

o Virtualization concepts and technologies.

Role is for a duration of 6 months and is paying a flexible rate between £500 - 650 per day Inside IR35
