The company:
Oliver James has been partnered exclusively with a digital Insurtech as they build out an E&S Underwriting division. The client is an actively growing and successful digital Insurtech focused on the habitational space.
The role:
At this time, they are looking to engage with Senior Underwriters. The successful Senior Underwriter will play a pivotal role in establishing and shaping the client's presence as they grow out their footprint in the E&S lines market. This is a FULLY REMOTE position with some travel as deemed necessary (less than 10%).
As a Senior Underwriter, you will be responsible for:
- Quote and release new E&S business
- Support marketing functions and efforts to help successfully build the client
- Maintain familiarity and compliance with E&S insurance regulations
The Senior Underwriter should have the following skills:
- 5+ years of E&S Underwriting/Insurance experience
- Habitational Experience
- Strong agency relationships
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience
