Senior Underwriter required by leading global insurance business offering excellent salary level and opportunity to progress to Manager level for the right candidate.

The role:

• Drive the underwriting treaty activities for construction/engineering
• Primary focus on China market with additional regional scope (India, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan, etc)
• Manage client relationships and LOB portfolio effectively
• Report directly to CUO Engineering
• Regularly meet clients and brokers
• Perform technical analysis of the underwriting business

Requirements:

• 5+ years underwriting experience for Consturction / Engineering
• Ideally exposure to treaty / reinsurance
• Strong experience of dealing with China market ideally
• Chinese speaking (ESSENTIAL)
• Relevant engineering qualification ideally
