Team Leader Test Automation | Banking | Zurich | High Competitive Salary

This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of Switzerland's leading retail banks (1000-2000 employees) based in Zurich , Switzerland. IT is at the forefront of this companies vision and future. They are currently running a big IT transformation programme (several greenfield projects) where they need an experienced Senior Test Manager to manage a team of experienced Test Managers. This company use a mixture of on-site and near-shore employees to ensure high-quality work is delivered so an ideal candidate will have experience in leading both types of teams.

A successful candidate will have 4+ Years Management experience and strong test management background. The majority of tests will be done on the Java API (backend) using the Atlassian stack. Your responsibilities will include creating testing strategies and over seeing the implementation across the team. You will ensure best practices are followed because it is your responsibility to supervise all relevant activities in an end to end testing environment, this will include timeline, budget planning and being responsible for capacity. You will have Lead Test Managers report into you so and ideal candidate will be strong willed.

Candidates can expect to work as part of a team for 7-8, there are some areas of the business that use traditional waterfall methods but teams have completed or are moving towards an agile methodology where appropriate (SCRUM or Kanban). A successful candidate must be able to communicate to the team in English and also senior stakeholder management.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership of internal and external testers
• Ensure best testing practices are followed.
• Ensure high quality delivery across the team
• End-to-end testing strategies for automation and non-functional testing are implemented successfully

This is an urgent permanent/internal role based in Zurich, candidates must be be based in or have the right to work within Zurich, Switzerland (Swiss or EU Passport holders) because visa sponsorship is not offered.
