Oliver James have partnered with a leading Financial Services client who are going through a growth phase at present and require a Senior .Net Developer on an initial 6 month day rate contract.
You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining high-quality .NET applications, while contributing to architectural decisions and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+ and related technologies.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features and improvements.
Conduct code reviews and uphold coding standards and best practices.
Lead or support the migration of legacy systems to modern .NET platforms.
Identify and resolve performance issues, bugs, and technical challenges.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Requirements:
Strong experience with C# and the .NET framework (including .NET Core or .NET 6/7).
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Experience with ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), CI/CD practices, and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) is desirable.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach.
About:
- 5 days onsite per week required
- €600 per day.
