What will you do?
In the Regulatory Reporting department, you'll be part of a dynamic team responsible for:
* Ensuring timely and accurate compliance with ever-evolving regulatory reporting requirements
* Streamlining and optimizing reporting processes with a focus on quality and efficiency
* Enhancing internal controls over administrative and reporting workflows
* Leading change and implementing new processes within Regulatory Reporting
As a Senior Regulatory Reporting Specialist, your role will focus on three key areas:
* Team Leadership: You'll be the go-to expert, supporting, guiding, and coaching the team while proactively identifying and implementing process improvements. You'll have a clear view of what's happening in the department and collaborate closely with the manager to drive success.
* Project Involvement: You'll play a crucial role in major projects across the organization. Many large-scale initiatives directly impact Regulatory Reporting, and your expertise will be critical in ensuring successful project outcomes.
* Complex Reporting: You'll handle a variety of reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually), with a particular focus on the more complex ones. Your responsibilities include:
o Executing, reviewing, and improving the reporting processes
o Performing in-depth data analyses and connecting the dots across reports
o Proactively identifying, resolving, and reporting discrepancies
o Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to address any reporting challenges
Right now, we're in the midst of a high-impact transition to granular data reporting. This is part of a large-scale, organization-wide program aimed at implementing smarter processes, systems, and data structures to meet current and future regulatory requirements. As part of this, we're rolling out a new Regulatory Reporting system, and the program is currently in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase with further development underway. In your role, you'll work closely with both the Regulatory Reporting and project teams, gaining deep knowledge of the new system and processes while helping to ensure the UAT phase is completed successfully so we can go live!
Additionally, you'll be involved in exciting projects to incorporate new products into the reporting process, and you'll regularly be called upon for ad-hoc analysis and support on financial questions from management or other departments.
