Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead and shape fund accounting processes within a evolving environment, where your expertise will be instrumental in driving efficiency and excellence
- Assemble and nurture a high-performing team of Fund & Senior Fund Accountants, guiding them toward success and professional growth as the firm continues to expand
- Implementing cutting-edge fund accounting software, positioning the firm for continued success and innovation in an ever-changing landscape.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Finance & Chief Operating Officer, contributing your insights and expertise to strategic initiatives that fuel our growth trajectory.
- Execute complex financial calculations ensuring accuracy in critical areas such as waterfalls, management fees, carried interest, and Net Asset Values (NAVs).
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and reporting that fuels informed decision-making and drives strategic growth across funds.
- Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders, fostering seamless communication and collaboration to support the success of our fund-related activities.
- Contribute your expertise to the preparation of financial statements and audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and reinforcing our reputation for excellence.
Key Skills:
- 5-10+ years of Private Equity experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- Master's degree in accounting or a related field (Plus)
- Experience with Allvue or Investran. (Plus)
- Extensive Excel utilization
- Demonstrate your mastery of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory frameworks, ensuring the highest standards of compliance and accuracy.
