The position of Senior Analyst Claims Operations is broad: you will be a key player in implementing strategic initiatives, overseeing improvement projects, ensuring claims governance, and managing day-to-day operational activities. You will be able to collaborate closely with stakeholders and contributing to the success/growth of the department.
You should bring proven experience in project delivery and possess the ability to communicate and influence teams beyond Claims Operations. Ideally, you will have a solid understanding of claims governance, along with experience in controls, monitoring, and supporting change projects. Additionally, you should demonstrate a strong business and process mindset, as well as skills to influence and drive continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities
As a Senior Analyst Claims Operations you will need:
- Foster robust communication and collaboration, ensuring strong engagement with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the establishment of a robust risk management culture within Claims Operations.
- Maintain effective first-line controls for identified key risks, collaborating with Risk, Internal Audit Group (IAG), and Compliance for continuous improvement
- Take an active role in supporting and owning risk event mitigation plans, resolving internal audit plans and providing exception reporting.
- Partner with claims teams to provide continuous feedback, sharing insights to enhance regulatory performance.
- Ensure timely and appreciate responses to regulatory, SOX and internal & external audits.
- Expedite the resolution of ad-hoc system, regulatory, operational issues.
- Provide necessary support to Legal, Vendor Services, Quality Assurance, and other support groups.
- Play a role in supporting effective claims business reporting within the assigned region.
Your Profile
- > 3 years of experience with Operational Claims, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Showcasing excellent communication skills, including the ability to present clear and concise analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
- Embracing a collaborative approach, allowing you to effectively influence stakeholders and foster continuous improvement through positive partnerships.
- Demonstrating your proven ability to dissect complex business issues, conduct thorough research, and synthesize conclusions.
- Applying your commercial mindset, highlighting a proven track record of making sound decisions backed by data.
