I am currently supporting a leading Insurance business on their search for a Senior Financial Accountant during a period of growth

The role will be responsible for

• Management of the period end financial accounting processes including managing the premium receipt processes, month end accounting adjustments and reconciliation of key income statement and balance sheet accounts
• Preparation of the annual statutory financial statements under IFRS
• Liaising with external auditors on financial accounting related matters
• Management of the assistant accountant

Profile Requirements

• Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong practical knowledge of IFRS
• Proven experience within Insurance or Financial Services
• Must have full right to work within the UK (no sponsorship available and applications will not be considered)
• Hybrid/flexible working available.
