We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Controller to drive innovation and excellence in financial management. In this role, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring precision and efficiency in every aspect of financial operations.

Key Tasks

• Lead the charge in maintaining meticulous bookkeeping for a wide array of clients
• Craft comprehensive financial reports and closing procedures with finesse
• Develop strategic annual accounts that showcase financial acumen
• Mentor and inspire junior team members to unlock their full potential
• Navigate complex liquidity forecasting and master cash flow management strategies
• Develop and manage strategic budgets to drive client success
• Provide expert guidance on VAT returns and identify optimization opportunities
• Ensure compliance and accuracy in client files, maintaining the highest standards
• Foster collaboration with Legal teams to navigate regulatory landscapes effectively
• Oversee payment and banking processes, collaborating seamlessly with payment administrators
• Drive compliance efforts, meticulously monitoring transactions and mitigating risks
• Respond adeptly to ad hoc requests, ensuring client needs are met with precision and efficiency

Your Profile

• Leverage over 5 years of relevant experience to make an immediate impact
• Possess in-depth knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS, setting the standard for financial expertise
• Excel in guiding and mentoring junior colleagues, fostering a culture of growth and development
• Hold an advanced degree in Accountancy/Business Administration, showcasing your commitment to mastery
• Demonstrate expertise in International taxation, including Withholding Taxes, ATAD2, MLI, and Transfer Pricing
• Communicate effectively in English, with exceptional interpersonal skills that inspire confidence
• Navigate digital tools with ease, proficient in MS Office, Windows, and advanced accounting software
