Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance on cyber security risk management, compliance, and mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement IT risk frameworks and procedures to ensure effective identification, assessment, and management of cyber security risks.
- Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify potential gaps in the existing security systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of cyber security best practices across the organization.
- Monitor and investigate security incidents, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective measures.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cyber security, incorporating them into the company's risk management strategy.
Key Skills
- Solid experience in IT risk and compliance issues, preferably within the Insurance or Financial Services sector, such as C-RAF or IRA
- Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, evaluating risk controls, and recommending risk treatment plans.
- Expertise in implementing and managing security technologies and tools to protect against cyber threats.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex situations and provide strategic solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and communicate security risks and recommendations.
