Senior Business Transformation Consultant

The ideal candidate for this would be a consultant from a big 4 / consulting background that is used to partnering with the business and really shaping the strategy through thought leadership.


As Senior Business Transformation Consultant you will act as a trusted advisor to the business with a focus on improving the experience and maximise the benefits of change:

  • Supporting the business in shaping strategy and problem solving through thought leadership and external perspectives
  • Make sure change needs and associated impacts are clearly understood and communicated to ensure connectivity across the enterprise

Core Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Partner to one of more business functions to become the trusted advisor for solving business problems
  • Provide the business with structure, advice, and guidance and share best practice learnings as they work through new ideas and strategies
  • Lead diagnosis activities to understand causes and identify potential resolution of issues
  • Influence and shape the business functions change strategy, building stakeholder consensus around future vision and roadmap and ensuring it aligns to overall business strategy
  • Ensure the business function understand the organisational context of their change needs by identifying broader business impacts and support them in joining the dots to other project/BAU activity
  • Coach less experienced members of the team to ensure consistency of approach in all dealings with the business and the principles of the business transformation consulting engagement model

To succeed in the role the ideal candidate will have

  • Excellent stakeholder relationship management and influencing skills, with significant experience of supporting senior executives
  • Ability to challenge the status quo in a positive, constructive, and professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate complex ideas in a structured and easy to understand way both in oral and written form
  • Experience of undertaking strategic reviews and using business transformation and operational change management methodologies to support businesses in identifying and shaping change initiatives
  • Financial services experience
