Our Client, a globally leading alternative fund administrator, is in the market for a strong Fund Accountant or Asset Management Auditor to join them at the Senior level as they continue to grow this team. This role will have you work closely with blue chip clients within the private equity, real estate, and venture capital industries alongside Directors and Managers with dozens of years of experience under the belt, giving you an excellent path forward with growth and learning opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare workpapers for Private Equity and Venture Capital clientele
- Prepare management fee calculations, including offset amounts and waiver contributions
- Assist with the preparation of capital call and distribution calculations, notices, and allocations
- Update carried interest/waterfall models
- Prepare quarterly and yearly financial statements and supporting schedules
- Assist with year-end process with senior management and external stakeholders
- Work directly with clients to handle, resolve, and respond to requests
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff where applicable
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field
- 2+ years' experience within accounting, public auditing, or investment finance
- Experience with preparing and reviewing financial statements and general ledgers
- Proven knowledge of US GAAP
- Strong soft skills including communication, presentation, attention to detail, team-work, and ability to work autonomously
- Strong analytical skills including experience in building complex financial models and further presenting them to stakeholders
- Positive, self-starter attitude
