Oliver James have partnered with an high growth life insurance firm to recruit for a Senior Associate - Financial Risk.

This position, reporting into the Manager of the Financial Risk team is a newly created position within the business and will focus on assisting with the quantification and reporting of the business's capital at risk positioning offering a unique opportunity to gain large exposure in a highly visible position with both internal and external senior stakeholders.

The remit of this role will focus on but not be limited to the following;

• Co-ordinate the running of balance sheet modelling tools to derive solvency estimates, robust P'n'L attribution, assess risk positioning, stress testing and scenario analysis.
• Ensure successful delivery of the shared services model with Athora business units to include SII reporting support, liquidity reporting and other various capital at risk metrics.
• Managing on-going relationships with other Group functions (including Group actuarial, Group finance and all divisional equivalent teams) that are integral to capital at risk reporting.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years within a financial or quantitative risk background within the insurance industry along with an excellent grasp of both written and spoken English communication. You will also have a working proficiency in Solvency II.
