Job Title: Senior Actuarial Analyst - Medicaid Behavioural Health

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 base plus benefits
Oliver James is partnered with a leading payer/provider network seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join their rapidly growing actuarial team. Supporting the actuarial team in achieving business objectives, you will specialise in Medicaid Behavioural Health and have a fundamental involvement with the analyses of the membership population.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with pricing initiatives relating to Medicaid Behavioural Health products
- Leading financial analyses efforts in support of but not limited to: Medical cost and utilisation trends, rate development and filings, claim reserve development (IBNR)
- Utilising & developing mathematical models to predict impact of changes
- Presenting findings & offering recommendations to upper management
- Prepare State & Federal filings
Experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or related field
- Working towards completing ASA certification
- Minimum of 4 actuarial exams completed, or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of actuarial experience within managed care, consulting, or health insurance
