About:
As a Senior Actuarial Analyst you will join the specialty and casualty group. The candidate who fills this position will be focused on the team's large account pricing and public entity work covering general liability, worker's compensation, and commercial auto.
The actuarial team works closely with senior leaders to identify trends, develop performance metrics, and provide projections and reporting. The department is a great place for candidates who would like to develop their strategic thinking, business acumen, and communication skills.
Responsibilities include rate monitoring and rater maintenance support:
- Commercial lines pricing across public entity and large accounts
- Presenting to senior leadership both internally and externally
- Collaborating with brokers and underwriters
- Project management, documentation, and record keeping
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in property/casualty actuarial disciplines with a focus on commercial lines pricing is preferred
- ACAS or near ACAS
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI; working knowledge of R or Python
- Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently, and effectively overcome challenges
- Desire to work in a fast-paced fluid environment
- Rater monitoring and rater maintenance
- Able to provide clear and concise verbal and written communications to non-actuarial business leaders
- Must be authorized to work in the US with no visa requirements
