A leading insurer operating across the US, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their rapidly growing team. This global client is privately held with over backed by a fortune 500 asset manager. With their high M&A model, they have become key players in the insurance space and have a cutting edge investment strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business that is going through transformations, integrations, innovations and acquisitions.

Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Charlotte, NC (hybrid 3 days)

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Lead new strategic initiatives for the business including system implementations and process improvements
• Acquisition integration
• Leading the monthly, quarterly and annual US GAAP and Statutory reporting
• Lead contact for audited financial statements
• Build and maintain internal controls

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, a related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years in insurance
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• CPA or parts passed preferred.

Salary: $80K - $120K base + bonus
