Our client, a prominent player in the Insurance industry, is seeking a highly skilled and diligent Reserving Actuary to join their dynamic Actuarial Department. This established company is well-known for its robust financial performance and commitment to excellence in risk management practices.

Role & Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with other actuaries and cross-functional teams to perform actuarial reserving duties.
• Provide accurate monthly reserve estimates and report variations to the management team.
• Lead initiatives to implement robust reserving strategies for new and existing insurance products.
• Conduct detailed analysis and forecasting to support the company's financial health and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders clearly and effectively

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in Commercial Reserving and Reporting within the insurance sector.
• In-depth knowledge of actuarial science, financial theories, models, and practices.
• Strong mathematical and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a capacity to work independently as well as in a team environment.
