We seek a Project Manager for our Infrastructure Team to lead "on-prem to cloud migration projects for a leading Insurer from the Infrastructure perspective. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of project management experience in infrastructure and cloud technologies. You will coordinate with regional teams, manage project risks, and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with business units, technical teams, governance teams, and service providers on project implementation plans.
- Deliverable Tracking: Use appropriate tools to track project deliverables and provide direction and support to project teams.
- Risk Management: Identify and report project issues, task delays, and risks; facilitate timely resolutions and manage project changes effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Promote accountability for project quality and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
- Status Reporting: Provide timely updates on project status, budget spending, risks, and issues to enable informed decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Management: Coordinate cross-functional initiatives that impact the organization, ensuring PMO practices and governance processes are consistently applied.
- Agile Approach: Adopt a flexible, agile approach to project management, demonstrating professionalism and outstanding conduct.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Minimum degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 6+ years as a Project Manager, with a strong background in infrastructure projects and cloud technologies.
- Regional Collaboration: Proven experience working with regional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Risk Management: Strong skills in identifying and managing project risks and issues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Pressure Management: Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude toward team collaboration.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master, or equivalent certification is a plus.
