Job Title: Operations Accounting Manager (Investment Accounting/Reporting)

Duration: 15 month maternity cover

Rate/Salary: £60,000-68,000 annual salary plus 10% completion bonus

Location: Basingstoke based (1-2 days in office per week, plus home working)

The Role:

- To analyse investment accounting information and ensure that it is accurately reflected in the accounts of the company, in accordance with reporting timetables

- To prepare commentaries on investment related movements and balances and lead investigations where required

- To manage the production and analysis of investment information for internal and external use. This will include disclosures for statutory returns

- Preparation and review of quarterly and annual Solvency II Asset related reports and templates

- To support the preparation of UK IFRS results and the annual Statutory Accounts, specifically in relation to investment accounting matters

The Candidate:

- Experience of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), in particular in relation to the Financial Services Industry

- Financial Services or Insurance industry experience (Life Insurance preferred)

- Knowledge of Solvency II highly advantageous

- A team player who can work collaboratively with others
