The role

We are looking for a Medior business analyst to join the IT Digital Solutions (DS) team of one of our clients. The candidate will join an existing team to reinforce the delivery capacity for the corrective and evolutive maintenance of the existing applications as well as provide business analysis and testing for dedicated IT projects. The main focus will be on the financial and reporting aspects in a first instance while the scope might evolve and extend.

Objective of the job

Main objectives:

  • Analyze new business requirements / contribute to identify opportunities / areas of improvement / argument pro and cons considering stakeholders' expectations and constraints,
  • Provide testing scenario, perform tests, ensure proper documentation and reports,
  • Document the analyze using professional standards,
  • Ensure alignment and communication with all relevant stakeholders on IT and business sides including collaboration with external partners,
  • Analyze bugs and issues related to running applications and provide an effective resolution.

Additional objectives:

  • Facilitate requirements discussions and workshops, participate in efforts to develop requirements and effort estimates,
  • Participate and communicate in regular team meetings and group activities,
  • Active partners with functional users and technical and reporting staff to determine best approaches, ensuring that approved solutions / process are implemented in a timely and appropriate manner.

Business experience required (work experience)


  • Finance process analysis within a large and/or small organization: mid-level (1 y - 3 y)
  • Basic finance and accounting knowledge (invoices/ Journal Entries, Master data, closing procedures, Taxes…)
  • Bridging IT tools with finance department requirements ( legal, operational)


  • Knowledge of audit, asset management & compliance processes
  • Bonus - knowledge of training industry

Technical experience required (hard skills related to physical or digital tools)


  • Experience with Scrum and Prince II: mid-level (2 y - 5 y)
  • Mastering BPM and UML principles: mid-level (2 y - 5 y)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office Tools: mid-level (2 y - 5 y)
  • Understanding of business functions, workflows, and processes: mid-level (2 y - 5 y)


  • Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence: mid-level (2 y - 5 y)

Functional experience required (job experience in particular industry and in particular function)


  • Experience in the IT services industry: mid-level (2 y - 5 y)


  • Understand of data modeling principles

Language requirement

Dutch and French - all professional


Brussels Meiser, On site 2-3 days a week the rest remote
