Base Salary Range: $95-115k
As a Microsoft 365 Specialist and Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the existing Microsoft 365 suite whilst driving future state M365 strategy and roadmap.
You will lead a team responsible for the effective implementation, optimization, and support of Microsoft 365 solutions across our organization. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills to ensure the continued success and innovation of our Microsoft 365 environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of Microsoft 365 specialists, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Oversee the day-to-day management and administration of the Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and associated services.
- Ensure the stability, security, and performance of Microsoft 365 services through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and optimization efforts.
- Develop and enforce governance policies and best practices to ensure compliance, security, and data integrity within the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize strategic initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing the Microsoft 365 environment and driving business value.
- Create and maintain a roadmap for the future state of Microsoft 365, incorporating emerging technologies, industry trends, and organizational goals.
- Lead the design, implementation, and configuration of Microsoft 365 solutions to address business requirements and strategic objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend new features, functionalities, and third-party integrations to enhance the capabilities of the Microsoft 365 suite.
Skills Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience managing and administering Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop comprehensive plans, and drive execution of strategic initiatives.
- In-depth understanding of cloud technologies, security best practices, and compliance requirements relevant to Microsoft 365.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate, or similar credentials are preferred.
