We are seeking a Server Team Lead for one of our clients to manage Linux and Oracle server operations. You will oversee over 4000 servers, business applications, and core applications across five data centers, serving 6000 users. Your role will ensure smooth operations for our client both locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Linux Servers
- Drive digitization and innovation by developing future server platforms.
- Collaborate with IT architects for stable, secure, and cost-efficient server platforms.
- Oversee daily management and planning of operational teams.
- Act as the main contact for IT Service Management and ticketing.
- Address technical issues and ensure maximum server availability.
- Oversee key IT projects within the client's organization.
- Represent the server team in meetings with partners and stakeholders.
- Conduct quality checks and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Profile:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in IT.
- 7+ years of experience in IT (Linux) Server environment with at least 500 users.
- 5+ years of team leadership experience.
- Expertise in Linux, Oracle, OpenShift, Networking & Security, Storage, and Virtualization.
- Fluent in Dutch or French, good knowledge of the other, and good command of English; German is a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
