The Role
Lead Cyber Security Consultant | We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lead Cyber Security Consultant on behalf of a leading global reinsurance business based in the heart of Manhattan. This is a very varied, exciting and interesting role, which will see you be responsible for consulting externally across their insurance client-base, developing a view of and advising on the threat landscape, identifying potential risks and helping them to write better business.
Lead Cyber Security Consultant Requirements
- Previous experience of functioning in an external-facing, cyber security oriented role
- Strong experience and understanding of various areas of security, with the ability to translate technical to non-technical and vice-versa
- Ideally a solid background in strategic threat intelligence or incident response
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills as well as a collaborative working style
- Appetite and willingness to be externally facing, talking to clients and working across different cyber competencies
- An interest in upcoming trends and technologies, along with how they might impact the cyber insurance market
- US Citizenship is essential for this role as you will also be working with the US government
- Solid educational background with a relevant degree
If you are an experienced Lead Cyber Security Consultant, ideally from a Big Four or similar background at Manager / Senior Manager level, then this role represents a very unique proposition in the market, enabling you to transition into a conduit between traditional consulting and working 'in industry', along with the ability to build your own team / division in the near future.
