Responsibilities:
- Reviews the quality of, designs, tests, deploys and supports API-based systems focusing on industry best practices with a cloud-first emphasis.
- Designs, develops, tests, deploys and supports API-based systems focusing on industry best practices with a cloud-first emphasis.
- Perform code reviews, review technical test strategy / unit tests and guide the creation of appropriate technical documentation.
- Ensures systems are built to adhere to SSDLC and GDPR requirements around security and data privacy
- Assists in problem analysis and submits recommendations when appropriate
- Seeks continuous quality improvements for supported products
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required:
- JavaScript/Java/NodeJS
- Cloud Technologies (AWS Preferred)
- Relational DB technologies
- Code review / quality tools like JSHint/JSLint, Mocha, Code Climate, NPM Dview, Swagger Docs, etc.
Preferred:
- Groovy/Go/Python
- Elastic Stack including Elasticsearch
- React JS
- Feather JS
- NoSQL database technologies, with a focus on PostgreSQL and Mongo DB
- Terraform/Ansible
- Docker/Kubernetes
