Senior Change and Release Manager



We are seeking to recruit a Senior Change and Release Manager who will play a role in supporting our technology transformation. In this exciting position you will drive the implementation of agile change and release management procedures, while ensuring the overall change program is effectively planned and executed. Additionally you will manage configuration, environment asset and lifecycle processes, ensuring effective implementation and delivery. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in a number of exciting initiatives that will modernise and improve our IT process and technology landscape over the coming years.

Your tasks

    • Drive the change and release transformation (process and technology) to support agile within the business
    • Manage the release schedule, underpinning the delivery of strategic and transformation projects
    • Ensure effective process execution; scope alignment with business priorities, delivery of expected value and performance monitoring
    • Continuously improve processes, learning from mistakes and proactively implementing improvements
    • Ensure priorities are managed, quality gates are adhered to, and dependencies and risks are identified
    • Support initiatives driving our technology transformation such as process automation, event management, data analytics
    • Leadership of a small team (1-2 internal employees) and management of external service providers

Your profile

    • Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent education/work experience
    • 5+ years' within an IT service management/service delivery or agile delivery environment, with demonstrable experience in the required areas
    • Experience with Service Now or another ITSM tool including practical experience implementing or managing processes
    • Flexible mind-set, happy to work in a changing environment and willing to take on a broad range of activities
    • Strong communicator at all organisational levels. Able to set direction and effectively manage priorities
