On behalf of our insurance client in London , Oliver James are recruiting for a senior member to join the finance team who will be responsible for the IFRS 17 financial reporting.
Whilst there is rarely a typical day, here's a snapshot of some of the key points in this role.
- IFRS 17 reporting on a monthly , quarterly and annual basis.
- Operating effective financial processes and controls over reporting.
- Provide analysis and insight into the IFRS 17 result , and use IFRS 17 knowledge to help improve understanding across organisation.
- Resolve IFRS 17 reporting issues and Head Office queries , closely working with senior stakeholders across the client.
- Identifying and driving improvements to IFRS 17 reporting as the client embeds this new reporting basis.
The suitable candidate will.
- Be a qualified accountant
- Lloyds/Insurance experience
- Technical Accounting knowledge (IFRS 17 & UK GAAP)
